The Glass Feather Studio and Gardens
offers unforgettable mountaintop shopping with glorious views,
wildflower gardens, and kiln-fired creations for tabletop, home, and
garden. It's known as the studio where the mountains meet the clouds
and flowers grow.
You're invited to stroll the gardens or sit on the garden deck or watch
the artists at work. On the grounds, you'll see fused glass garden
works in designs including butterflies, birds, and flowers.
Inside are six different
showrooms:
- Foyer
with birds, bowls, and tables
- Left Room with nightlights,
panels for garden and tabletop, and bowls
- Checkout area with copper/glass
masks, glass weaves, and framed glass art
- Kitchen with hand painted bottles,
windows, and wine glasses
- Porch with window art, glass
blocks, sinks, and a "sales and seconds" table
- Upstairs Room is filled with
designs of flowers, butterflies, fish, animals, holiday and
abstract designs

From the Upstairs Room is a deck overlooking the mountain views
where you may decide to sit for a while. You'll see our framed
panels mounted on the deck railing and our glass table tiles with
wrought iron table bases.
The kiln-fired fused glass creations
include the celebrated "Bowls with an Attitude" as well as
other distinguished bowls, plates, platters, trays, wall art, hand
sinks, nightlights, tables, and garden works in a variety of designs, shapes,
and sizes.
The studio is forty-five minutes from the Asheville airport and
only twenty minutes from Brevard, Flat Rock and Hendersonville and is one of the "must do" shopping adventures of
Western North Carolina.
